Not only do most video game storefronts run Black Friday sales, but even though there are still five days to go until Black Friday is here, most of those sales have already begun. The Epic Games Store has gone in a slightly different direction with its Black Friday sale in 2024 to set itself apart, and it has done that by cutting the price of some very big, and in some cases still very new, deluxe and special editions.
A lot of the time, once a game's initial release has been and gone, everything but its standard edition gets forgotten about. It makes sense as, for the most part, only those who wanted the game enough to get it on release day would be willing to pay the extra for its deluxe edition. The better, more expensive editions are still out there though, and between now and Cyber Monday they're a lot cheaper than usual at Epic.

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League's Digital Deluxe Edition Is 95 Percent Off
It's not the best game you'll ever play, but $4.99 for the $90 version of it is a hard deal to pass on.
One of the best deals on the Epic Games Store right now is the 40 percent price cut on Cyberpunk 2077's Ultimate Edition. Not only because the 40 percent discount lowers its price to $47.99, but because you're getting more than an extra mission and additional skins with this special edition. This edition of Cyberpunk has been dubbed Ultimate because it includes both the base game and the critically acclaimed Phantom Liberty DLC that CDPR added to the game in 2023.
Epic's Black Friday Sale Is Live And Cuts The Price Of Lots Of Different Deluxe Editions
Cyberpunk, Frostpunk, And Other Games That Don't End In Punk
There are some newer games included in Epic's Black Friday sale. Some very new games as Star Wars Outalws' Gold Edition is among the discount offerings. The perfect time to pick up the game if you've been holding out after its Wild Card DLC, which is included with the Gold Edition, dropped a few days ago. The Gold Edition is also the usually more expensive version that includes the Jabba's Gambit mission which was controversially omitted from the standard edition.

Star Wars Outlaws Gold Edition
Star Wars Outlaws Gold Edition includes additional content that doesn't come with the base game, access to its DLC, some of which is still to come, and the edition-exclusive Jabba's Gambit mission.
Despite its August launch, Outlaws doesn't have the honor of being the newest game included in Epic's premium edition sale. That accolade goes to Frostpunk 2 which, just two months after its release, has seen its Deluxe Edition reduced to $67.49 on the Epic Games Store. Just a 10 percent discount, but better than nothing considering how new the game is.
