David Barker

DAVID BARKER (Dancer) is honored to be performing a Daniel Nagrin solo directed by Phyllis Steele.  He is an award-winning actor, director and fight choreographer. Also an accomplished mime, his work has been featured in numerous publications including From The Greek Mimes To Marcel Marceau And Beyond, Shanghai Theatre Magazine, Mime Journal and Phoenix Magazine. He graduated Cum Laude from Duquesne University with a B.S. in Education in 1977 and received his M.F.A. in Theatre Arts from Rutgers University's Mason Gross School of the Arts in 1980. 

His credits include national and international tours, Broadway, Off-Broadway, regional theatre, international festivals and TV. He conducted master classes, workshops and residencies at universities, conservatories and public schools throughout the country and in London, Athens and Shanghai. He taught at the University of California at Santa Barbara, Douglass College and Scottsdale and Mesa Community Colleges.

He is a Professor of Theatre at Arizona State University where he teaches movement and acting and serves as the Coordinator of the MFA Performance Program. He and his wife live in Tempe, Arizona and they have four children and four grandchildren. Through his work he intends to glorify God, from whom all good things come.

Brian Kunnari

BRIAN M. KUNNARI (Sound Design) has been composing in the Valley for over 20 years and is thrilled to be collaborating with Ann Ludwig once again! Other A Ludwig Dance Theatre composing credits include ‘Til Death Do Us Part, The Living Room Project: Kids! and The Cheese Stands Alone. Other original musical scores include Theseus, GUV: The Emperor Strikes Back and Phoenix Theatre’s Cookie Company productions of A Number of Wonders, There’s Something In My Kitchen!, Professor Flabberflapp’s Actual-Factual Magnetic Gathertorium and The Girl Who Saved the Sun as well as many others. Brian also owns and operates the award-winning original music house, Imagescore Music. Some composing credits include the WNBA, Walt Disney World Productions, KTVK, the Arizona Science Center, Kartchner Caverns, Maracay Homes, Cox Communications, Tempe Town Lake 4th of July Spectacular, Casino Arizona as well as scores for numerous award winning short films and video, radio and television jingles. Brian graduated from ASU with a degree in Music Theory and Composition. Brian lives in West Wing Mountain with his wife and vocalist, Stacey and his two, amazing daughters, Ellie and Presley. Brian wishes to say thank you to Ann for the decade plus of fun, imagination and friendship she has given him and his entire family. Forever grateful. Forever blessed by you.

Galina Mihaleva

GALINA MIHALEVA (Costume Designer) was born and raised in Bulgaria, where as a child she learned to sew and to appreciate the colors, and the patterns, and textures of traditional Eastern European folk costumes. She immigrated to the US after earning a MS degree in fashion design and textiles from the Academia of Fine Arts in Sofia. She received the grand prize in International Furnishings and Design Association competition in 1995. Her innovative designs are commissioned privately and are prized by a growing number of fashion leaders. She is currently the costume designer for the ASU Dance Department and teaches at Phoenix College. Galina has worked with A Ludwig Dance Theatre on numerous projects.
